A little bit about me…
I’m a photographer and filmmaker passionate about telling your stories through a creative lens - both literally and figuratively.
Based in West Yorkshire but travelling everywhere (well, mostly everywhere), I’m one of *those* people who genuinely loves what they do. Thankfully, it’s a lot less annoying when it’s focussed on delivering great imagery for you or your business.
Whether you’re an independent artist looking for some portraits to display alongside your work or a business that wants unique and engaging videos of you doing what you do best, I think you’ll find yourself at home here…though it’s probably best check out my portfolio just to make sure.
Since turning to the dark side, I’m guilty of trying to make everyone I meet quit their job and go freelance too
Truth be told, I spent most of the early part of my life behind a desk pretending I was listening in meetings and knew what ‘circling back around’ meant. I’d convinced myself that I was happy trading my soul for a modest pension contribution. I wasn’t though, so I left and did this instead.
As it turns out, it isn’t just an expensive passion of mine - I’m pretty good at it too.
I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing people from all industries, identities and walks of life. Being able to utilise my passion to help others and work together to leave the world a better place, however we can, truly is a dream come true.
With the exception of a (hard fought) cuddle with our cats or a dash of honey in my brew, nothing makes me happier than delivering evocative photography and film that showcases who you are, what you do and what you stand for.
Great photography doesn’t exist without genuine connection
I love being behind the camera but I seem to melt into a puddle when I’m in front of it, so I understand better than most that it can often feel uncomfortable on the other side of the lens. I approach every shoot in the same way, aiming to create as relaxed and supportive an environment as possible.
From here, I’ll make sure we capture a little bit of magic so you can finally ditch the stock content or that one photo you’ve used for everything, and show up in a way that’s impactful and authentically you.

I live in Halifax, West Yorkshire with my amazing wife Janine and our two feline overlords Giz and Rue.
You will probably notice me order two drinks whenever I go to a cafe, one hot and one cold. This is the way.
Getting a window bird feeder was possibly one of the most exciting purchases of my life. The cats agree, but for different reasons.
Despite childhood signs suggesting the opposite, I’m all about the clean and tidy. I need to be to keep up with Janine’s chaos engine.
I spend most time outside of Autumn wishing it was Autumn. If it IS Autumn, I spend most of my time worrying whether I’m enjoying Autumn enough.
